Grief Counseling

  • “Each person’s grief is as unique as their fingerprint. But what everyone has in common is that no matter how they grieve, they share a need for their grief to be witnessed. That doesn’t mean needing someone to try to lessen it or reframe it for them. The need is for someone to be fully present to the magnitude of their loss without trying to point out the silver lining.” - David Kessler

Grief can a bi-product of any major life change, even changes that are deemed favorable. We can feel unsettled as we release what we’ve known and navigate unknown territory. Grief has a way of fundamentally changing us as we strive to find meaning and adjust to a new sense of normal. A new reality that we sometimes didn’t ask for or plan.

If you’re finding yourself struggling through your experience of grief know that we can support you in finding solid footing again. We create a safe and compassionate space for you to explore and make sense of your grief experience.
