The Art Of Letting Go 🍂

I hope you've had a good week and have enjoyed the start of Autumn.

We have entered my favorite season of the year! 🍁

We get a break from the humidity.

The air feels cool, clean, and fresh.

The trees display dazzling warm colors.

And yet again, Mother Nature shows us how to let go.

Today, I had a thought.

"What if letting go was as effortless as trees shedding their leaves in Autumn?"

It's a natural process that is part of the evolution of the tree.

It can be a natural process in our lives as well.

Perhaps the tree doesn't fret because it knows it will grow new leaves in the Spring.

As human beings, we're often afraid of letting go because we don't trust that what we're releasing will be replaced.

Or if it is replaced, we don't trust that it will be better than what we've released.

Believe me, I know because I've been there! 🙋🏽‍♀️

Instead, we focus on our years and energy invested in a job, relationship, community, way of life, etc., as if they hold the most value.

We stay even when our needs aren't met because we're afraid we'll lose everything and end up alone, broke, sad, and defeated.

But what if we could be like the tree?

What if we could gracefully let go of the aspects of our lives that no longer serve us?

What would happen if we were willing to trust our gut feelings and pivot accordingly?

What would happen if we believed that letting go would create space for the job, relationship, community, way of life, etc., that would feed our spirits and feel like home?

I believe that we would create the life of our dreams.

I have repeatedly witnessed this phenomenon in my life and the lives of those I serve.

It's more than just about having the courage to let go. The true magic happens in how we let go.

Let go in peace.

Let go with trust.

Let go with joyful anticipation.

Let go in complete surrender.

Be like the tree.

All my love,

Danielle ❤️
